RJT
I would like to share a few pics of my open airsoft pistol I am using for training. I have been shooting competition off and on for about 20 years. I have shot everything from poilce combat courses to cowboy action shooting. I am former LEO and started a business about 7 years ago utlizing airsoft guns to train law enforcement. I sold airsoft and trained LEO for tactical training. I knew 10 years ago that airsoft had a place in firearms training. I have since stopped that business but still have old customers from the past. People have asked for me to start back up but my main business I have takes most of my time. Airsoft is more of a hoobby for me now with the ocassional sale of a pistol or training session. I think airsoft also has a place in competition shooting training as well. If you look at the guys at BAM Airsoft they have this thing dialed in. They have some great target system for training with airsoft. Because of my limited time I can decicate to an actual range I have decided to dedicate the majority of my training using airsoft and see how that goes. I know it will work because I know people from Asia that have trained with only airosft to then come over here to compete at the higest level and win. So I know it works. Anyhow enough of my preaching I just wanted to show you my latest trainig pistol.I will be building a limited division pistol next. On this pistol pictured I have a few extra goodies like a compensator that is not necessary when building a traing pistol. A nice basic training pistol can be had for much less than this build. This pistol is based on a Tokyo Marui 5.1. Feel free to ask any question, I will be glad to answer them if I can.
