EricW
I just got software installed so my pre-historic calculator will do partial fractions. Unless you have ever done a ton of them on the clock for a final, you just won't know how cool this is. And I just looked at awbansunset.org and realized that there's only 132 days until the oppression ends. I still clearly remember the first gun show after the ban. I made a killing selling the HK USP mags I hoarded in anticipation of the ban. (Did I keep the money, so that use it to buy mags after the ban expired? Nooooo.....) Eat your heart out Pat Sweeney. kimel
Time for a new calculator Eric. When my HP-41CV died I cried for a long time. I had become a total addict to the software modules that I had for it. But about then I was done with those classes and so settled for a smaller HP. Yes, I am an RPN junky. And someone told me the other day that HP has stopped making RPN calculators. Dang....oooppss...guess that needs to go to the hate forum.
L9X25
I still use an HP15C daily and it is well over 20 years old. The thing is a wonderful tool.
rhino
I used to know what partial fractions were. Fortunately I have successfully purged all mathematical, scientific, and engineering knowledge from peabrain over the last ten years or so. Whew! If HP doesn't make RPN calculators anymore, then there's really no need for them to make any at all! My HP11C is around here somewhere, but I haven't seen it for ... over ten years. I have the earliest version of the 48_, that I got my last year in grad school, but I never use it. When I need a calculator, I use a TI 80-something. And that's just to add scores at NRA Action Pistol matches.
AikiDale
I don't know about these new fangled HP whatchamacallits, but, like Rhino, I have purged all mathematical knowledge and can not use my Pickett N600-ES Speed Rule at all.
