The_Vigilante
Don't think the stainless steel media is going to work in a vibrating cleaner but what do I know.

DyNo!
For our purposes (cleaning brass) you're supposed to use it in combination with water in a rotary tumbler. Edited August 11, 2011 by DyNo!
catwrench
well looks like i spent money on something thats not going to do me much good unless i buy a tumbler now.thats what i get for not researching it better ,thanks guys
DyNo!
It shouldn't be too hard to sell though - the stuff lasts forever. I would buy it from you but I'm not going to get into stainless tumbling until my vibratory tumbler dies. I say you hold onto it until you get a rotary (if you're planning on it) or sell it to someone who is about to. http://www.dealomite.com/craft-hobby/Thumlers-Tumblers-Model-B-Rock-Tumbler Edited August 11, 2011 by DyNo! g56
Have you tried it in your vibratory cleaner? It might work, but you won't know unless your try it.
Glockcomma
I would think it would be to heavy for a vibratory tumbler unless you only tumble a handful of brass.

Yup - not only that, it would take a LONG time to have any effect. Wet tumbling SS media in the proper tumbler takes 4 hours. Remember that you're adding SS media, water, and brass. I'm not too sure how your tumbler would react with water being put in it.

Let us know how it goes! I want to get one but I won't until my old Frankfort Arsenal dies. Its been kicking for 10 years despite all kinds of abuse. Bart Solo
If you use a vibrating tumbler, I have two words for you: "lizard litter."
