mactiger
This may not be the correct forum, so if one of the moderators needs to move it, well, go right ahead. I'm in the process of updating the NROI Level One (RO) and Level Two (CRO) seminar material. I've done the textbooks for both, but I'm in need of some more modern presentation material--the pictures and courses of fire we currently have are out of date. If anybody has any good quality digital pictures, videos, or a course of fire that you think would make good projection material, please email them to me at mactiger@eatel.net. We probably can't pay you for your contribution, but we'll certainly make sure to give you credit for it if you want it. I've noticed some excellent, illustrative pictures posted on this forum, and I'll probably contact the owners of those directly. Due to my current work schedule, I've been unable to get many good pictures, and I'd rather have pix that show real situations instead of a bunch of posed snapshots. It doesn't matter if the picture shows a good example or a bad one; we need both in order to teach the courses. They will be incorporated into a Powerpoint presentation for use at all the seminars in the near future. So, if you have some examples of good or bad stage design, ROing, rules violations, or just plain goofy behavior, I'd sure appreciate your sharing them for use in the seminars. Thanks in advance. Vince Pinto
Hi Troy, I don't know if these are of any use to you, but feel free to use them: Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 Image 4 Image 5 The last one is from a match where the range crew did not affix a new target properly to the underlying template target, and it resulted in me awarding a reshoot to the affected competitor under Rule 4.6.1. scooterj
Troy, show up at EAPS next weekend. I know that you can get some good examples of right and wrong. Of course, since you know all of us, might be a good idea not to bring your camera...lol
mactiger
Hi, Scooter. I'm afraid I'll be working that weekend, and the next weekend I'm teaching a level two seminar. It seems that I'm either working or traveling somewhere for every EAPS match, and the last Cajun Action was washed out. Traveling again this weekend, so I can't make Garyville. Besides, with all you guys in the pictures, I'd have to black out the faces to protect the guilty. Troy
