dlc356
Long story short I had to replace the slide on my 2011. STI sent me a new slide in white metal, cut for the Bomar rear I had on my old slide. My sight is an older Bomar with the elevation screw that goes down into the slide. While they cut it, there is no hole tapped for the elevation screw. Does anyone know the size/thread pitch for the screw. I really don't want to deal with shipping it back and forth just to drill a hole. dlc356
Thanks. I'd left a message with STI and got a call back yesterday afternoon. You're right btw, they said a #31 drill bit and 6-48 tap.
Powder Finger
Forgot the drill size. Also make sure to drill and tap real straight or you'll have problems breaking the screw.
