Not sure if this post should be here, but here I go..

This weekend (7/24/2011)is my first IDPA match I wanna use my reloads this is what I got;

Bullets are Hornady xtp/hp 180gr. Bullets, MG180gr.hp bullets & Reinier 165gr. hp bullets

Allients Power Pisiol Powder

CCI small pistol primers

Mix brass

Glock 27(i know its not the best to start with but its what I got to use.)

Reloading on Dillon RL550B..

Can I just go in my reloading manuals and pick a velocity using power pistol and be legal to allow me to compete?

What is SSP AND ESP? :blink:any help is greatly appreciated..

SSP (Stock Service Pistol) and ESP (Enhanced Service Pistol) both use a minimum PF of 125000.

PF = Bullet weight (in grains) x velocity. Or 125000 / Bullet weight (in grains) = minimum velocity.

I use a PF of 137000 for my SSP load, but any load that you want to use should be chrono'd through your gun.
