The Antichrome
Hello: Get the Lazza grips in the Horned Lizard cut. They are the best for hot humid weather. Thanks, Eric Hello: Get the Lazza grips in the Horned Lizard cut. They are the best for hot humid weather. Thanks, Eric I also like Larry Davidson Horned Lizards... Mr. 10mm
I have been using Ergo's for several years and really like them. They are inexpensive and I think they are a bit thinner than regular grips. They have a skateboard tape finish, but unlike tape they don't wear out. chad GUNder
I have a set of VZ operator 2s. They are definately sweet... But heavy. Burner series grips from Jerry Barnhart are my number 1 choice. They are injection molded with the sand of skateboard tape molded right into them. Super light, escpecially if weight is an issue. They stick to your hands without tearing them up!
RussB
Lazza's Horned Lizards, Lazza Shredder's. They are indeed aggressive, Here's skate board tape over micarta. Again, very aggressive,

fred5876r
One more vote for VZ Operators II. I have the slim versions on two 1911s (short fingers) and I don't believe I will ever buy anything else. They work great with a "bald" front strap. MarkCO
Ergo XT's feel just like skateboard tape. I really like them. Yep, I have them on two of my 1911s.
domyalex
Another vote for VZ Operators II with thumb cut. Use very fine sand paper if you want slightly less aggressive surface.

Avezorak
I shot a Springfield yesterday that had Nighthawk Golfball grips. Wow. No slippage there. My Springer will be wearing them shortly...
foilhat
I had the VZ Operator IIs and liked them. I'm now running the VZ Recons and find them a bit more aggresive.

59Bassman
Mil-tac G-10 grips work well for me. I picked up a set of these and really like them. They replaced the Hogue finger groove grips my Kimber wore for 14 years.
sbpt1911
Raasco checkered grips are sharp and grippy. I am currently using duragrips. Wow these are like sandpaper - definitely grippy!
cas
I shot a Springfield yesterday that had Nighthawk Golfball grips. Wow. No slippage there. My Springer will be wearing them shortly... Compared to the original Gunner grips they're copied from, they feel smooth.
