Don and all the match staff,

The match was well organized and the stages were great! Man you people have a nice range!!!!!!!! Lots of movement and good difficulty levels without making things impossible for everyone to shoot (except those darn Stars!). First match this year I was actually able to shoot my pistol well! LOL! I want to thank all the folks on my squad for letting me shoot with them. The guys and gal from San Angelo are a fun group and made my time at the match fun and relaxed.

Everyone else really seemed to have a good time and although the wind blew the first day (not that bad, but I am from Lubbock!) the second day was perfect!

Thank you from myself and all the shooters at the match. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to putting on an excellent match.

Thank you!

Guy Hawkins

Yeah, What he said!

I can only think of one thing that would REALLY improve this match...

When we left Alamogordo, the temp was aromnd 90F - twenty miles east when we went through Cloudcroft (about 4pm NM time) the temp was 64F. :o

Don could you investigate moving the range to Cloudcroft?!?!? :D

Coming from Mesa, AZ, I thought the temp was cool! I thought they had a really nice range.

Thanks for a great match, Don! I particularly liked the shotgun speed shoots. In every other match, shotgun shooting is a reloading contest. Here, there was some straight up shotgun shooting. Good rifle stages too, particularly stage 2. I did think the match could have used one more rifle stage (short range hoser style) to balance things out.

Guy left out that he won Limited. Good shooting! I want him to go back to shooting his Glock. Congrats to Steve Hendricks for his Tactical win and James Darst for winning open.

It appears that the creation of Tactical class was a good thing as it was the biggest class.
