Larry White
I am just starting to reload 5.56 for 3 gun. What is the diffrence between 2230 and 2230C? Thanks Larry
Intel6
I use 2230-C for loading .223 and 55 FMJ's. When I first got it I did some looking and found out it is basically a "slightly slower" version of 2230. Because of that you use 2230 data for loading. THere is also data listed on the jug. Tokarev
I had a jug I've already used up. IIRC, the can said to use AA #2460 data for 2230C loads.

Tokarev
On page 40 of the April 20 issue of "Shotgun News" is an ad for 2230-C. The ad states to use AA#2460 data only with this powder. So why didn't they just call it 2460? Anyway, I liked the stuff. I loaded it all in .30-06 FMJ fodder.
5pins
There web site had info but it's not there anymore. It said to use 2230 data. There description for 2230C and 2460 was the same, "slightly slower than 2230"
Tokarev
Widener's has this stuff for $63 per 8 pound jug! I need to get a couple more cans.
