dennisp5
I think I am going to give a fiber optic front sight a try. Dawson Precision has a .195 Tall x .095 Wide blade that should be about the right height for my 75B with the CZ Custom tactical rear sight (my blade is .187 now, so I can file a little to get the right height). I will buy a red and a green FO so I can try both colors, but they sell .040 and .060 FO. Which one will fit the .095 wide blade? Thanks, Dennis
Whitefish
As I recall, the Dawson fiber optic sights come with extra short lengths of the fiber optic in both red and green. The .040 fiber optic is the right size for the .095 or .100 blade, but I think you might be able to squeeze the .060 in if you prefer a bigger optic and are a glutton for punishment. The .040 came in my Dawson sights. Most Dawson front sights use the .040. The Dawson chart and sight listing on his website should tell you what you need or you can just dial up Dave and ask what will fit and what won't. whistlepig
Unless something has changed, you will get a piece of red and green in the appropriate size with the sight when you order it.
dennisp5
I guess I didn't read far enough. It does indeed say on the web site what size they use. Too much stuff on their sight I guess! Anyway, thanks for the help Dennis
