tomneal
My Para Ord P16-40 just started going to 1/2 cock I had a magazine problem. (Rounds were nose diving into the feed ramp even after a new spring.) I started testing how many rounds I could load before the problem occured. About 5 or 6 into it, the gun went to 1/2 cock. I tried a couple of more times. Then I got nervious and went to an empty mag. When I drop the slide on an empty magazine it sometimes goes to 1/2 cock and sometime the hammer follows. I plan to head to the gunsmith this week unless someone has a suggestion. Tom Neal
scooterj
factory hammer and sear? if so, get your smith to fit some quality pieces. had the same problem with my P-14. not real easy to control a whole mag of 180 pf 230gr .45's when it goes full auto. when looking at the sear under magnification, you could see the holes in it. it looked like a sponge. tomneal
Nope. Not factor by a long shot. It's been to the smith many times. Maybe it's just time for one more trip. See you at the range. Tom Neal
BSeevers
Its to the gunsmith unless you want to apply for Class 3 manfacturing license asap. Following should never happen but its fixed real easy. Quality parts and smith are the key.
