Bsbllrooster Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 On my STI I have a drilled and tapped mag release that accepts a 4x40 screw in button. While shooting the other day the button worked itself out and is somewhere on the New Mexico desert floor crying desperately for help. Unfortunately for it, after over an hour of searching, the search party has given up. The kicker is that it had a black DLC coating on it to match the rest of the pistol. So my question is where can I find a BLACK mag button that will fit my drilled and tapped mag release? I have found plenty of blued ones but am afraid that it will look odd on a very black pistol and I don't exactly want to have a new one coated. If I can't find a black one I guess I could settle for stainless but would prefer to stay with the all black pistol. Any help would be appreciated.
