WhiskeyFoy
Thinking of giving a partial 3 gun a go this weekend. Luckily the club I am going to runs all their guns separately so I will just be competing in Pistol and if I can get it all together in time Shotgun. For a newbie what could I grab between now and Sunday to help me out in the Shotgun category. This is mainly Rig related to help me with reloads.. Do I just get a belt that can hold shotgun shells or a shell pouch?.. I have seen the shotshell caddies which if I seem to like it this weekend I imagine I will grab but just want something to get me going this weekend. Sorry for the stupid questions and thanks in advance for your answers.

mmchambers06
I don't know about the clubs in your area, but in my neck of the woods we have several experienced 3-gunners with TONS of extra gear to go around. I'm sure there will be some guys willing to loan you some caddies for a day if you just ask! One thing about this community (generally)...we are always here to help. Bring what you got, borrow the rest, buy some gear after you've learned some.
fastmtnbiker33w
I used a cheap shotshell bandolier wrapped around my belly above my pistol belt during my first match. It worked pretty well other than being kind of slow. Another guy did the same thing but he used a shotglass holder from Octoberfest that happened to hold shotshells perfectly. There is no shame in trying to have fun with what you've got.

Jadeslade
but he used a shotglass holder from Octoberfest that happened to hold shotshells perfectly. Now I like this! Good for after the match , too. A pouch will do for first match.
