ErikW
Do you have a detent in the slide stop?
wide45
Had the same problem once. New slide stop fixed it. Made for a spectacular jam that needed a hammer to fix. Under the new rules that do not allow tools, can I unjam the gun with a rock?

.40AET
http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/Pro...+SPOTTING+DRILL It's real easy. Just don't make the final detent too deep.
Nolan
Took the buff out and tried the next stage... same thing after a mag change. Have you changed your grip during reloads or where you hold your trigger finger during reloads? You may be inadvertantly pushing on the slidestop pin with your trigger finger while your reloading. Even if you aren't hitting the slidestop pin with your finger the detent is a good idea.

I'll second what nolan said, as I was doing it for a while, and after three or four slide stops and a detent, I just moved my finger off the frame during my reloads with no problems since. .40AET
I had the problem pushing the pin out in my Para, when I went to a widebody, the pin is recessed into a hole that isn't easily pushed out. I think addecus has a S*I.
