ajg308
Need some help with a Marlin .22, but first a little background. A local shooter and friend of mine passed away last December from a massive heart attack and he was only 40. Since then I have been helping his wife with his estate. One of the items that I have been unable to do anything with is a Marlin 780. It was a total rust bucket and the stock was trashed. With the permission of his wife, we decided to restore it and then raffle it off. The proceeds will go towards a cover and memorial for him at the range. A local gunsmith donated a blueing job and it looks great now. At this point I am stuck as there does not seem to be a lot of info on the 780's out there. I need a stock and all the metal that goes on it and at least one mag. My questions are about model compatibilty. Can I use 880 parts? If I can, where can I find 780 stocks and parts? Thanks for any advice.
whistlepig
Numrich gun parts. I think it is www.gunpartscorp.com. They have your stock "in stock" for $72.75. Part number 428570 They also have rifle scehmatics and all parts listed as "In stock" or "out of Stock" It's a good starting point and I have had good service from them.
