leam
Are there any Revolver savvy folks in the SW Georgia area who could give me a few pointers? I'd like to avoid having to unlearn stuff before I get too far into it. Thanks! Leam
Suicycle
I feel your pain here in NW GA. I have seen one or two wheel guns at the local match and not on a regular basis. I have been shooting plastic though so I haven't been looking till the last month. I gotta find somebody to squad with.
No.343
I worked for a few months in Warner Robins last year and had a chance to shoot matches at a few clubs in the area. I only saw one other revolver shooter and that was in the range north of Atlanta. I'll be back this fall and winter. Hopefully, I can run into you guys and you can give me some pointers. Wehrwolfe625
I'll dust off the ol' six if people start shooting matches near Atlanta. It would be a hoot to get a squad together!
mwx40x40
Not really sure I would call it SouthWest Ga, but if you visit Griffin Gun Club, near Griffin , GA, for one of the Steel Challenge matches , you are subject to run into a couple well schooled students of the round gun. jlweems
In GA, I'd have to say the go to guy for revolver training is Claude Warner: http://www.dryfire-practice.com/ Claude likes to shoot snubbies, and he competed at the Wheelgun Championship this weekend in Gainesville shooting a j-frame. He is an IDPA SSR master. I think he has a class in Americus in the fall, but I don't know if it is an open class or not.
