timawa Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 (edited) I got a GC and it jams once in awhile, is there anyone having this problem too? One time it emptied a full load 8rd wilson combat mag, so I have to reload, by 4th round on the second mag it jammed, then I cleared it, shot 1 then jammed again. Need help please. Thanks. Vlad Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 We need more info, but start by numbering you mags and keep track if it is consistently the same mag giving you problems. Next check your extractor, take the slide off the gun, remove barrel, place and EMPTY case under the extractor on the breach face as it would be under normal conditions. Did it take a LOT of force to get the case in there? If move the slide around rotating it in all directions does the case stay under the extractor? What if you shake the slide gently? I had a Gold Cup a few years back the extractor would tighten if I didn't shoot it very often. Sometimes it would sit in the safe for a year or six months and I would need to loosen the extractor tension to get it to run. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
