eerw
Mainly just a parts gun project and ended with a gun for IDPA ESP or could run in L10 (minor) or Limited ( minor ) if I really needed too. I am still looking for a .40 top end, which would really make this a nice L10 gun

eerw
tell us about the magwell +1 Also, did you melt the sight yourself? +1 on more magwell info Magwell is a weld-on type. Frame is cut and magwell intalled then dressed out. Mags will fit flush on the gun. It's not quite as huge or easy to install as the CZ Custom large magwell, but I figure for the amount of money I would spend on basepads to get the mags to seat, I would spend the same and be able to use this frame on a carry gun if I wanted to. With the mags being tapered, the well is plenty wide for reloads. Sight install was done by the same shop. Takes a bit more as the slide is extremely hard steel and hard on cutters..so takes several passes to make the cut. The sight picture is really nice. Sight is Heinie Lo-mount Ledge Tall rear. eerw
eerw - Would you mind posting the mag well you used and the 'smith who did the work? Magwell is a product of GK Customs. Gary Kimball in Colorado Springs did the magwell and sight installs email is probably best - gkcustoms@comcast.net
