6734
Greetings and salutations, I am a newbie to revolvers, and have absolutely fallen in love with my 4" S&W 625. I am looking to set up a competition rig with it, and up until now I have been using a Safariland custom-fit holster, a 5.11 nylon belt, and california shoot-a-moon moonclip holders. My question is this: the CR Speed belt is listed as being 1.5" wide. The Shoot-a-moon clip holders fit nice and tight on my 1.75" wide belt. If I use the CR speed belt with the shoot-a-moon moonclip holders, will they be too loose and wobble around or will it be wide enough to hold them securely? Thanks in advance for any information before I drop the money on the belt. Chris
No.343
I used mine on a Safariland belt, so take this with a grain of salt. I just stuck velcro to the back of the clip holders and that held them securely against the velcro of the inner belt.
pskys2
I did that and put a thin wire tie around the bottom, so it clamps it down onto the belt. Of course you could get either a Speed-e-Rack from the Aysens or a North Mountain Carrier. Either work great, the speed e rack is a bit faster but less secure. The North Mountain is more versatile. glockwerkes
Try sticking a patch of velcro on the back of each holder, that should lock it to the belt.

Glock NZ
I had this exact problem. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of each clip and tied it onto the belt with a cable tie, no movement. I have now moved onto the Speed E rack from the Aysens which is working very well. Also trying the Moonclip holder from the revolver supply company, uses up less beltspace but holds everything a bit lower on the body.
