Cody_2130
Hey there! I'm Cody, I work for CCI/Speer and am getting into 3 gun shooting. Up till a year and a half ago I play paintball on a fairly high level and miss the intensity so I am going to try my hand at 3 gun matches. Gun wise I am saving some money and will be buying a DPMS 3G1, I have a Rem 1100 shot gun with an 8 round tube and a 26" vent rib barrel, I am going to be ordering a pistol grip stock for it here soon. I would like to get a Glock 24c pistol but am not sure, for now I will be borrowing my dads .45 Kimber till I decide on what too get. I do need some ideas for a sight for the DPMS, I was looking at getting an Eotech with a flip mount 3x setup. I have never used one before and would like to know what you guys think of them. P.E. Kelley
Cody, Welcome to the best forum on the net! Which side of Washington? Working at CCI, Eastern I would suspect. If so, you have a couple of clubs to ought to visit BEFORE you buy any more kit. That will save you money, time and frustration by seeing and trying what guys in your area are using. If not you still have several clubs on the "wet side" that will help you out just as well. Visiting and talking with the locals really is a fast track to gear success. We have some rather good 3 Gunners in the area. Patrick Edited April 22, 2011 by P.E. Kelley
Cody_2130
East side. I live in Clarkston Wa. I have not bought much yet, if there is stuff I need to look at let me know. I was planning on going with Blackhawk for most of my gear as I get way too good of a deal on it to pass it up. I did find some 300round bluk boxes of .223 ammo for $100, was planning on buying a couple of those boxes a month to practice with.
