mikegot38
All: One of the members at LPRGC sent me the below email. Does anyone know where I can find such a target? I cannot remembver it at NJ and my searches have not been successful. Thanks. Mike I'm looking for a falling target that moves side to side as it falls. Might you know where to find one? I saw one at Old Bridge in New Jersey a couple of years ago at IDPA NJ states and I thought it would be a good competition prop, but also good for Tuesday Nights, as well. Nik Habicht
We might have set a mover up on garage door opener rail, with the target hanger or frame rolling along the track on the garage door "wheels".... Home-made affair....
Jim Norman
What was done was to set up a pair of tracks that inclined across the stage. The target was released (I don't remember the trigger) and rolled across the stage to disappear behind hard cover. Could you make it fall as well? Sure just modify the mount on the base to add a hinge and something to trip it. Great for a match, but a little extreme for a mid-week practice session. jmorris
The counter weight on the target in this video might give you some ideas.
