pvhendrix
I only have 1 and it runs flawlessly with factory ammo, 115, 124, and 147 in my 17, 17-L, and 34.
JTew
I have two, both run without any problems (both factory and reloaded ammunition). I load my 9mm major to about 1.142. Edited April 22, 2011 by JTew
TruStreet
We have 6, try down loading to 28 & see if that helps I had the same issue when I tried to run 29 + 1. Manny
Whitefish
I have one SJC big stick that will hold 29 tight rounds. It runs flawlessly in 3 different Glock open guns - 2 17's and a 34. Given slight tolerance differences in the mags, the spring and follower in yours may stick or bind when loaded to 29 rounds. Try loading at 28 rounds and see if the same thing occurs. I have several regular length mags with Arredondo extended basepads and at least one of those gets finicky if I load 23 rounds in it. At 22 rounds, it runs just fine. I think it all depends on the fit of the spring and follower inside the tube, but one other thought jut occurred to me. I load my open rounds to 1.145" OCL with 125 gr Zero JHP's. My Glock 9 mags won't tolerate an overall length of more than 1.150 with the Zeros or with MG. Depending on your bullet profile, just one longer loaded round can jam things up internally with the round dragging inside the mag. Glock 40 mags are even more intolerant of rounds loaded that long because of the bullet profile, so I don't go longer than 1.135 with 40.
Glockster35
I have never heard of these mags. I take it SJC makes them out of larger Glock magazines, using what appears to be an Arredondo base pad. How are they attached to the mag body?

How are they attached to the mag body? John cuts off the bottom of the longer 31-33 round Glock 18 mag and then attaches the top of the Arredondo basepad with adhesive of some kind, ending with two small set screws on either side to make sure the basepad top stays in place since it is really meant to butt up against the bottom of a 17 round 9mm mag. BlueOvalBruin
Is there any reason to use one of these instead of the TF 170mm basepad with stock mag body?
McGlock
Might jam up less... But personally I have the tf basepads too.. I have been tinkering with them for awhile to get them to run reliably.. Found that number 5 followers with glock 33rd mag springs are working... So far.. Only shot about 150 Rounds with no hiccups..
