old jeff
How do you all move a fixed rear signt on a S&W 915 pistol. I tried the sight adjusting tool with the screw and the sight wouldn't budge. That tool works on all my other stuff. Is the rear sight on that model pinned somehow or retained by Loc-tite?? How do you guys move the rear sight in the dovetail slot? Thanks for your help Jeff
Mike in CT
I am not familiar with the 915 but I bet a quick call to S&W would answer the question. I have used a generic sight pusher with luck on all my other dovetail rear sights, loosening any set screws first. Mike
ScottyPotty
A hammer and punch. Good luck - they can be difficult. If its too hard take it to a gun smith - its usually on a few buck for them to beat them around.
