Need pieces to build M&P Open Pistol?

My uncle wants to make his M&P .40 into a open pistol. Who makes some drop in parts to do it on a budget?

Check out the post 3 or 4 down from yours...Open Gun M&P Pro. Guy did a really cool job on his own. I think he lists what he has for parts. Also search for Limited Guns in the M&P sub forum. Other than the glass and barrel comp a lot of the same work/parts make sense. Speed Shooter Specialities for Mag well, Mag extensions, etc. Storm Lake make a barrel/comp combo. http://www.storm-lake.com/products/barrel

Speed Shooters Supply has just about everything you need. Unlike the other M&P with the Red dot on top (which I think is a waste since its mounted on the slide) SSS is working on a optic mount to fix this problem. Just give them a call and explain what you want to do. Go with the KKM barrel if they make a threaded one over the storm lake. I wouldn't do such a big side cocker on it like the other one also. JMHO if you have any questions send me a PM I shoot a M&P in limited and the thing runs flawless and has me shooting the same scores as the tricked out STI handguns.
