Bubber
Muleskinner, if you already have it, try it. I had a 625 model 1989. I had to change the barrel and then it shot ok, changed it again with a 6.5 inch and that is what I am using now, for a while! Several Left handers on the board and I will let them tackle other issues. later rdd

Probably a model 25 barrel. -ld More than likely a 25 barrel. I was lucky when I bought it from Numerich's. It fit right away, some got one that had to recess the shoulder as it was for a 45 Colt, (Longer Cylinders) Later rdd

jjanglin
Made mine out of a Lothar walther barrel blank, polygon rifleing, lot of work but I sorta like it. Jim/Pa Sailors

I have seen other 45 with the 6.5 inch barrel, some were custom barrels. Roger Reid had a 25 with a 6.5 inch and it felt lighter than the 5 inch 625. It gives me a little more sight radius with less weight. This set up will make major (165) at 3.5 grains of Clays with a 230 grain Moly Lead Billy Bullet. I am using 3.6 for a little cushion about 170, and it is accurate, I may not be but it is. later rdd
No.343
Muleskinner, I am lefty too. I use a kydex holster from Kytac and a speedy rack to hold my moon clips. There are probably faster holsters out there, but I don't worry about it too much. One of these days when I have more money than sense I will experiment with different holsters. My first experiment will probably be with a DOH type kydex holster.
