Pro2AInPA
I'm striking out trying to find a soft case that will hold my AR and my shotgun. The shotgun has a +8 Nordic extension and has an overall length of almost 52". Anyone know of anything?
D.Hayden
I have the Midway drag bag.. it's on sale now for $65. Went out to measure... My Benelli from tip to tip is only 48" (with the +8), and it just barely fits
Dan Sierpina
I went with the Brownell's 3 gun case. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=27126/Product/THREE_GUN_COMPETITION_CASE

I'm thinking I may just have to carry two separate bags, or build a cart from a stroller.
D.Hayden
I thought mine was long.. what sticks out so far.. the barrel or the mag tube? What shotgun do you have?

Dan Sierpina
I'd unscrew the tube while transporting. The Brownell's case will take a longer tube. Mine measures about 52" outside, even though it's listed at 48" Edited April 8, 2011 by Dan Sierpina
Jesse Tischauser
I use a voodoo tactical two gun case and let my +8 Nordic tube stick out the end.
steviesterno
Dave I'm having Hannah build me a cart/wagon... should be awesome, and carry all our gear and more without issues. Stroller options seems pretty weird but effective to.
prreed10
Longest soft double case I've seen was a 50" from 5.11 that I believe is discontinued now.

Remington4Life
Did anyone see the 3gun bag with the extended pouch for the shotgun on Shooting USA? I think it was blackhawk, it seemed like a good case, not sure the price.
TMC
Wow, 52" shotgun, are you sure? My Benelli M2 has a Nordic 10 round tube (it actually holds 11 Federals) and is only 49" I use an Blackhawk drag bag. dkleskiw
I have the Safariland 3Gun bag (there are two flavors, one for 3gun the other not so much) and it holds my 20" Tac Optics AR and limited shotty no problem. It even has a zipper on the end that expands another 3 or 4" if I want to put my open shotgun in there. My only grip is that there aren't any straps on the inside to secure the guns from moving. Other than that, I like it.

ShooterSteve
I am really happy with my 5.11 bag, but I don't know if they make one long enough. My SLP is a tight squeeze with it. You may investigate what Dan said and unscrew your tube on the way to the match. It may seem like a little bit of a pain, but then you can buy the bag of your choice, and not be limited to the only bag out there in that length. dkleskiw
I've written myself a note to measure the inside of the bag with the little bump out opened. http://www.safariland.com/DutyGear/product.aspx?pid=4556 Webpage says it can take 51", but I'll check on that. dkleskiw
Ok, I think the Safariland case I mentioned above will work for you. I put my 48" (OAL) shotty in there, with a speed bead case behind it. That overall length is almost 52.5". Pics to show you how I had to lay it: Plus just to give you a reference, that's my 20" AR and 24" M2. Hope that helps. StephensOutdoors
You come up with any solutions yet? Looks like the Voodoo Tac Sniper rifle drag bag is 51", you could angle that open shot gun in there.
