sub JR catagory

ok beside all the reason why it would be hard to make it work, like holsters, mag pouches, knocking down steel, steel activators etc

has there ever been any thought to a sub JR catagory with .22's?

Yes I know there is steel challenge

Something like under 12, .22 only, hits on steel count (not sure how to overcome activator steel)

With .22 top ends, and .22 models that are out there just wondering if we are maybe missing something by not looking at this to get the kids out there.

Just something that I thought about after my 9 year daughter shot her first steel match, and asked why can't I shoot this gun in a match like you do.

I want to add that I do not think that we should add a .22 division for adults, this is something that 12 and under would only be allowed to do

Why 12? I don't know, just thinking that a 12 year old might have trouble with a 9mm.

Just a thought that I had and wonder what the BE masses thought

I know what your saying My daughter shoots a lot she's 10 and sometimes there's one other JR. who's maybe 15 or 17.Of course most of the time not always she is at the very bottom of the score sheet. So the sub Jr.always get a 'looking good but last every week'. It's still fun though
