Wayne County Raccoon Hunters USPSA Match

Recommended Posts

Since Spring is rumored to begin here in Southeast Michigan sometime soon, we have decided to go forward with our first match of 2011. Instead of our normal 4th Sunday match, we will have it on the 4th Saturday April 23rd starting at 1pm. Sign up is 12:00 and we are planning the usual 8 stages of fun that shooters have become accustomed to. 7 field courses and 1 classifier are in the planning. Typical round of 170-185 rounds if you don't miss. Set up starts at 8am on Saturday the 23rd. If you volenteer to set up, there is a discount on the match fee. Since Easter is that weekend, I am sure that we will have some sort of theme for the match along the lines of "Bunny gonna get it". Too Slow (Brian Killam) will have further updates on this as we continue to plan. We might even welcome back "those guys" from a state south of us who tried to break every prop we had last year while demonstrating they had the most powerful ammo amongst us. Just a hint.....don't forget to practice your tactical crane starting position. We have a few more creative starting positions planned for you this year as well.

See ya on the range!

I increased my load by .2 of a grain just for this match! Cannot wait to see how it does on the steel! :roflol: I hear that someone wants to shoot a 45 open gun with a power factor of 185+. He says it shoots flat as somebodies sister's XXXXX!!!

Cannot wait to shoot at your facility. It is ALWAYS a GREAT match! :P

PS: I was going to do the bow-down :surprise: but my daughter reminded me that we DO NOT bow to you people of the northern variety! :sight:

Well, we will welcome the shooters from THE state beneath us back to Southeast Michigun.........since we all need something or someone to laugh at while at the match. Our Resident G-Man might have to be detailed to "watch over" ya'll as the squad RO again. You might want to remember back to the 80's and relearn how to Walk like an Egytian in order to start a stage. In other words, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your camera's and get a picture of your shooting buddy in a very difficult position to explain to others......hehehehe. Remember, we're happy to help here at Prop Fixers Cental.

Happy to have you guys come on up. Adds a little fun to the match to have such a great crew of guys to harrass for so many reason......and yes we do have some new props for you to see this year.

Roy,

We cannot wait to see all the fun! You guys really put on a nice match, why else would we drive into the dreaded state?? Do not make it too difficult, remember there are two polish and two lefties and the fifth we do not claim always.

....and yes we do have some new props for you to see this year.

Um guys... Did you notice we get to SEE the new props, not actually shoot them? :roflol: I guess we'll have to sneak up unannounced sometime... :sight:

Hi all, well we have a preliminary round count for this match now. It looks like a 7 + 1 match with a count of 186 rounds. Roy, Woof, and myself got together this evening, ordered pizza and picked out (and where necessary modified) stages that would fit in our bays. Hope to see you there.

To make sure our match appealed to "ALL", we painted our new toys black so they are now officially "Tactical" and just like the helicopters that follow you shooters from south of the Michigun border, you can't see them. You just have to know that they are there. Since this match is being done on a different day due to the holiday, we wanted to have some fun without going too crazy with all of our props. Besides, we can't show it all at once. We have to keep you coming back for more each month drooling like the trigger pulling addicts you are.

I will give away one of the new toys......a double swinger that can be activated by one popper or have one on either side as the targets swing opposite of each other. Its just mean...............and that is why we like it. Have ya'll been practicing your tactical crane starting position? You might want to...........just saying. And metric mini's.........with hard cover.

Set up starts at 8am and the sign up starts at 12:15-12:30ish.......Match starts at 1pm so be on time.

Roy, better be careful as you have to drive into and/or through Ohio a couple of times this year .... Ohio Sectional and West Penn. The state troopers like you guys from north of the border  We'll make sure you get special treatment and a personal escort :surprise:

Tactical crane is all well and good, but the start position has nothing to do with the actual shooting of your props. :roflol: And we LOVE the metric mini's, best targets invented!! Don't worry, we'll be back all year long to see what we can have the maintenance crew fix between matches.

Refresh my memory...........just what exactly did we do to deserve you guys??????? I realize that no good deed ever goes unpunished, I just want to know who to blame for this invasion from the South with intent to break all my props. Might have to have an Ohio Surchage on the match fee for maintenance issues. Hmmmmmm.......

awwww, thanks guys for the offer to have me escorted through your state like that by your "friendly" troopers. Just as long as it doesn't come with handcuffs. And ya'll wonder why I tend to go north to Area 9 and shoot thier major match's versus traveling through THE Ohio State.

See ya guys at the match. It should be entertaining to say the least.
