gino_aki
So I get to be Match Director for this year's Hawaii State Championships...been awhile since I ran one but it's coming back to me. Set up a work day two Sundays ago to build new walls for the match. Got to the range at 7:30 am, two of the guys, Dan Clegg and Don Tisinger are waiting at the gate. Open and start setting up the lumber Ray Ishii had prepped the day before, show the guys the jigs I'd made the day before and where the tools and supplies I got are. They start and others start showing up in short order. Short story: 28 new walls and 80 target frames in three hours...guys are shooting with the new props at 10:30...sweet. I kept telling the guys they were AWESOME! I sure like belonging to a club where you can count on your members to come together and crank out a project when you need 'em to. Big thanks to Don T, Jeff, Ray, Barry, Dan, Carl, Bob M, Bob N, Craig, Smitty, Kelly, Don J, Derrick, Ron, Jon, Chris, Stevie, Bobbie, Dennis, Kyle, Mac, Dave and the other guys who's names I can never remember (I hate getting old). Also my son Kahoa who does a lot of work for the club by helping me with all my various prop building...and he doesn't even shoot. ninemmbill
It takes a lot of help to put on a big match. Looks like you have a great group there.
