JerryShoots
If you've been reading about my FrankenSpringer project then you know I got a donor gun that had a dot(Tasco Optima 2000) and a comped .45 Clark on it. That being said I made good use of the Clark but the Optima is still sitting patiently in the armory with no particular place to go. Anyone ever run one of these? If so how did it hold up under match conditions? It may earn a place on a little Glock creation I have on the drawing board. First I want to hear the tale of the track on it's performance. Thanks guys.
Ming the Merciless
I use my Optima 2000 as a door stop for one of my garage cabinets.

GunCat
I've had one mounted on an AR for years. Its held its zero and turned on every time I've used it...really couldn't ask for anything more from it. Edited April 5, 2011 by GunCat
Ross Carter
They have largest quality range of anything I've ever used on a firearm.
Flexmoney
This would be a great question to pop into the search page...
double_r76
I had one that would not zero... one of the adjustment screws was stripped. Tasco replaced it and the new one was a pain in the neck to zero, but worked. I averaged about 4 months of battery life out of mine, and sold it after about a year. Zero stayed pretty close when the sight was removed and remounted, so I just dealt with the shift instead of fine tuning the zero again. Mine was on a Ruger 22/45, so I don't think it was much of a durability test. YMMV, -Randy
