blind bat
Interesting. In regards to 9mm, their load data still seems slow based on the 8lb jug I picked up from PV a few months ago. I'm loading 4.0gr with a MG 147gr CMJ and 4.5gr with a MG 124gr CMJ. Both loads are in the 130-135pf range the last time I chrono'd them. I'd bet their data was compiled from differing lots based on the OAL being all over the place. The OAL listed in other sections of the manual seems to be more consistent. Of course the OAL could be based on the minimum seating depth before compressing the charge. I really like that they include listings for plated and frangible (Sinterfire specifically) ammo. It would be awesome to see the inclusion of our MG/Zero/BBI gamer bullets in a load manual.
Bob DuBois
I am a fan of Solo 1000 but it is very heat sensitive, the perfect load you develop in cool weather might not make power factor when it warms up. Charge weights seem to vary lot to lot so do some chronograph testing. Thanks for the link to the manual.
