What kind of load are you going to run? i shot about 20 rds. and had 4 failure to open slide .i am goiny to up my load a little and put a 13# spring in it. i shoot 115 rn .with about 4.6 of tightgroup .i am going to switch to hs-6 when my powder is all.i will keep you posted on my results. thank you jerry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

strangedays Posted March 30, 2011 Share Posted March 30, 2011 Looks good but I have never been a fan of mounting the red dot on the slide. Always been faster running irons than that setup. If SSS can make a frame mount for this, there'll be another M&P in my future! no i did not change the finish on the slid ,i bought that gun like that at cabelas .no the bll. and comp .were true drop ins .me and my kid ran 80 rds. through it today and it ran perfect .i shot 15 rds. at 7 yds. from a rest and it made one round hole 3/4 inch dia. jerry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did you do the coffin cut on the slide yourself? yes , i did all the work myself .i put 2 more cuts on each side on the top of the slide ,put all of apexs parts inside and did a stippling job to the grips sinch i posted that photo .i am shooting 4.6 gr. of titgroup and 115 berry bullets .i will try and load another pic if i can .thanks . jerry Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
