Sumtoc
Shooting an M&P Pro occasionally in IDPA and Production. Ended up with 2 Blade-Tech double mag pouches but both have the same problem. If tension is adjusted to set the front pouch right the back pouch is way too loose. If tension is set to fix the rear pouch the front is crazy tight. I knocked a full mag out of the back pouch while reloading from the front at an IDPA match recently. Just barely brushed it...... Suggestions to fix this? Not looking to replace with singles unless no other choice.
Sarge
It seems double pouches can be problematic in this regard. For the M&P platform specifically switch the base pads for the compact models and it will be much easier to grab one without the other. You can get them from S&W pretty cheap and they are production legal in USPSA. Don't know for sure how to fix the "one is looser than the other" problem short of applying heat and shaping them a little.
Pro-Pain
Don't know for sure how to fix the "one is looser than the other" problem short of applying heat and shaping them a little. It's kydex so a heat gun is your friend. Other than that, have you tried some kind of shim to stick in the back one? maybe adding velcro or something to the back one to offer some resistance, make it narrower. I have little pieces of plastic I wrapped in duct tape to shim one of my mag pouches. It's not pretty but it works.
yoshidaex
Velcro seems to work on the inside of the mag pouch. I used the fuzzy side. YMMV
