SSR for me as well. I've gotten over my infatuation with the voluptuous L-frame and have returned to my first love...the svelte K-frame  . My only dilemma is deciding to go with the solid 66 or the lean 15?

Gunner – the North Mountain IDPA moonclip holders are sweet. As for a holster, if you’re around central NC, there is a local guy who makes excellent holsters.

Shot it last year in SSR but I have a 625 on order and plan on using it. I need to find a good holster and moon clip holder that is IDPA legal, any suggestions?

North Mountain Moonclips, the best. Link to them from our site, click below,,, also our local guy makes a great holster.

I'll see him today and see if he wants me to put up a link to his site, not sure how much more business he can handle right now, he makes a great product by hand and sells at a fair price, getting very busy!!! Check back tonight

ReadyTac makes a good IDPA holster. I use their speedloader holders, but they make moonclip holders as well. I use NM moonclip holders for USPSA and can recommend them.

I also hear good things about CompTac holsters. Looks like they make one for a 4" N-frame.

I have one of the Ready Tactical speedloader holder and one of their moonclip holders. Both are top notch, and the service from the company was top notch as well.

I have one of the Comp-tac locking paddles for an L frame. It's a good holster.

+1 on the north mountain IDPA legal moonclip holders. They are the best by far.

I won a Comp-tac holster at the IDPA match down here and ordered a 4-inch n frame. I'll let you know what I think about it. Comp-tac seems like a good operation and good people. It is important to support the companies who support our matches. Thanks Comp-Tac.

Wow, I got my prize Comp-tac holster already. No bad concidering it took 8 months to get my IRC prize from S&W.

The holster looks good. I will not get to use it for a while but I can tell you it is well made.

Thnaks again to the fine people at Comp-tac for their support of the shooting sports.

I am going to attempt to shoot SSR this year. At the match at The Range on March 13th Frank said there are no slots available for Friday and Saturday (it's full). There were still slots open for Thursday then but I don't know if that is still true.
