Lars
I'd like to try to fit an ambi safety for my Spartan. What is the best value for a narrow/tactical model and where can I find info on how to do it. I'm pretty handy with tools (electrician/millwright). If I screw up fitting the safety it has no effect on the pistol right? I can just drop the old one back in? Thanks, oh I did try to search. ParaGunner
Ed Brown These work +1 Ed Browns are great, I have used both ED Browns slim and wide safetys.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I put a STI ambi on my Spartan and it broke during dry fire practice. Back to using Ed Browns for me. I have never broken an Ed Brown and the STI is the first one I have broken. Thanks, Eric

Aircooled6racer
Hello: I am not an animal If you saw the grain structure on the pin and lever you will see why it broke. It is not very good material Back to using either single sided safeties or Ed Browns. Thanks, Eric
R-Bros_JLR
I ended up putting an STI ambi on my Spartan and it fit and functioned great for the little while that I had the gun.
Lars
So Ed brown it is. What about the fitting? Should I just match the safety that I pull out?
