Howard762
We finally got a date set for the Spring 3 man 3 gun. It's not perfect (there's a conflict with Fredericksburg's monthly USPSA match) but it's the best we could do. There's just so much going on at York Izaak Walton in the spring. That date will be Sunday, April 3rd. Applications are available at http://yorkiwlaipsc.com/forms/York_3m_3gun_Spr2011.pdf and you can type right onto the pdf. Then just print it and mail it and your check as instructed on the form. Slots will be extremely limited for this match and we expect it to fill quickly. Don't hesitate to get your team together and get your stuf in the mail. We are also going to publish the stages ahead of time to allow you to strategize if you like. They should be up in a day or two. This match will be a great warm-up for Topton's 3 man 3 gun in June. I hear there are still a couple slots left for that, but you better hurry. Jim Norman
Howard, I'll be sending in two apps for two teams. Who is on each is up in the air at the moment, but there will be at least 6 of us and after tomorrow maybe a third team. Jim

LeftyGirl
Howard, is it absolutely necessary for all 3 team members to have all 3 guns? I'm looking to put together a ladies team, but we're a little short in the shotgun department. Essentially, I'm wondering if there will be any stages where more than one shotty will be required, or if we'll be able to get through the match with only one. Thanks! Karla An all ladies team would be awesome! There is only one stage where two shotguns are required. I'm sure there will be plenty of people on the other teams on your squad willing to lend you one for that stage. There is also going to be a rule that everyone on the team must use a shotgun on at least one stage. Everyone will have to use a pistol on at least on stage also, and everyone must use a rifle at least twice. The stages are now available so that you may plan your strategy. Follow this link. sbmd
Of all the luck....I am committed to assisting with a 3 gun charity event here in Las Cruces. I was going to borrow Lew's skirt (I mean kilt) and shoot on the ladies team!

Howard762
If you are inclined to spend the night in York the night before you shoot the 3 man 3 gun, I have arranged a very nice rate on a match hotel for this match. A friend of mine works at the Red Roof Inn on Arsenal road and he assures me that the rooms are fresh and clean. The normal rate for weekends that time of year is $75 or so, but you can get a room for $49.99 + tax if you tell them that you are with the "York Izaak Walton group" and we were promised that rate by Tammi. The phone number is 717-843-8181. I wouldn't wait too long to get that done if you want that rate.

Mig
Here's some additional information about the York 3M3G: - Recognizing Tactical, Limited, Heavy Metal, and Open, (as per USPSA rules) and “Outlaw Open” for you Saiga owners (No mag restrictions) - All 3 member must shoot the same division. - Everyone must shoot pistol and shotgun at least once and rifle at least twice. (Nobody can be a one gun specialist, but luck is not required either) Stages Application Topton 3M3G is likely to run their match the same way.
