SV 140 MM magazine

I just purchased my STI Eagle in 40 caliber and would like to purchase SV magazines. I hear that SV magazines are the better by far. My problem is that I want to use DP base pads.

What DP pads can I add to the 140MM SV tube and still be legal ? Or should I get the 123 MM tube instead? Of course I want to maximize

the number of rounds. I hear that 20 rounds is average capacity. Any and all suggestions and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Either the regular +1 or the SNL. Just be aware the SNL is for sometimes no legal and is really pushing the limit. It may or may not fit the gauge without some removed from the feedlip. The Regular +1 will not have a problem

Also the newer SV mags with stamp on it needs a little trimming on the mag catch hole.

For the money, I would probibally buy tuned STI mags for about the same cost and self assembled SVI mags

Hello: Buy some STI 140mm mags and use a Grams spring and follower with the Dawson +1 and that will get you 20 rounds reloadable. The STI mags work great for 40 and are a little stronger than the SVI's. Also the new SVI mags need a little work to make them work in an STI. Hope this helps. Thanks, Eric
