sahauptman
Anyone know about the post ban Colts proprietary muzzle break? I want to remove it and can't seem to be able to remove the two pins that hold it on the barrel. Are they tapered like the gas block/front sight? Or does colt use some sort of lock tight or do they sweat them on. I know Colt is always a little worried about the Feds. hence the use of the blind pinned sear block. Chriss Grube
Nope just cheap assed roll pins. A punch and small brass hammer. Knock them out from right to left. Just took mine off last week by dept. order because the cheap pins fail. They are supposed to be able to get better pins then we can put them back on. Do you know if this still applies.
Chriss Grube
Same thing. We tried them as a fix for the roll pins and they broke too. They will come out just the same. Punch and a brass hammer.
