Target Tree design

Recommended Posts

anyone have one of these

they could take a few pic's of the back side of it

I have one on the table tacked up but I can't for the life of me get it to operate 100%

Mine turns and drops either all the way or not at all depending on the length of the shaft that goes over the center guide rod

I have decided without a little help from someone who actually has access to one i will have to scrap it until i see one first hand

It uses interleaved fingers from both sides to make it walk down like that. I dont have a drawing or link but I have seen it before.

Ok, (if you can remember) does it have to be walked back up to reset?

I will do some tinkering with mine

Hey! That's my Target Tree, and my video. I make those.

The back is a series of angles, alternating sides.

How much do you sell them for?

Right now I will sell a complete tree with two target plates for $375. The problem is shipping is ridiculous.

I have sold several locally at a higher price, but I've been slow at work so I made up a few recently. It is all

mild steel, the target plates are heat-treated after welding, and they hold up very well. I have several thousand

rounds on mine with no ill effects yet. Its easily my favorite target to shoot. The man-on-man match in my video

above, where we use two trees, is great fun.
