Phil Dunlop
I'm organising our first 3 gun nationals since 96. Going through the IPSC rule book I saw Appdx A2 of the Tournament rules and wondered if those divisions listed have to be recognised? I want to recognise open, pistol, shotgun, and S/A rifle, and standard, pistol shotgun and S/A rifle and run a MOR side match. Could the match still be a level 3 if I did that? Thanks, P.D. mactiger
That's what I did at last year's 3 Gun Nationals. No problem, and it was level III sanctioned.

Vince Pinto
Hi Phil, Appendix A2 is set it out on a "menu" basis. For a more flexible "anything goes" Tournament, you recognise whatever Tournament Divisions you like (first column on the left), then competitors can select which Division they want to enter in each discipline. What you're suggesting is a "restricted" Tournament, whereby the match organiser specifies exactly which disciplines and which (fewer) divisions he will recognise.
