gjtalia
Can anyone direct me to a good source for obtaining the .45 H&G #68 swc bullet? I understand that this is supposed to be a very accurate and popular bullet style for target or competition shooting. I will be shooting IDPA using a Wilson Combat CQB pistol and I would like to try the H&G's. I am currently using 200g Laser Cast SWC which I like because they don't lead up the barrel. Is there that much difference in the bullet styles between an H&G swc and the Laser Cast? Thanks, George
Run n Gun
George, I'm pretty sure the Laser Cast 200 LSWC are Hensley & Gibbs #68, so I'd say your search is over! Ed
Duane Thomas
Not only that - they're the best H&G 68s I've ever seen.
EricW
Lasercast is pretty much the top of the heap for hardcast bullets. I have zero accuracy issues with them. I can't imagine you will unless your barrel has a gazillion rounds through already.
Larry White
The only SWC I'v seen thats better or as good as Lazercast 200 is their 170 .40. Good bullets. Larry
gjtalia
Thanks for the info guys. I have been shooting lasercast bullets for a couple of years now, using both their .45 and .38super bullets. They shoot great and leave the barrel easy to clean (no lead build up whatsoever). So then I will stick to what I am currently using! Thanks again - George
SC shooter
I'll also throw a plug in here for Penn Bullets. I've had great luck with them. Paul
