Rio Salado IDPA

Last week Rio Salado had its first afternoon IDPA match. This match had been held in the mornings, prior to last week. The match started at 2:00 PM and was great time. The match had 8 stages that were all excellent. It was match director, Dave Paasch's, first IDPA match and he did an great job. I know some of you shot the match, but alot of the Phoenix area shooters did not. If you like to shoot IDPA, you need to come out March 27th and give it a shot. Dave puts on great stages and he will make the Rio IDPA monthly match the best in the southwest!

You can start at 2:00 and will probably be finished up around 4:00 or 4:30.

Iwas happy with match and feed back was good. I think 8 stages are going to be the norm, with a round count under 100. What was also cool was (to those not there) on bay 2 Rob did his SSWR day. A lot of pistols free ammo and bay full of steel to shoot at. Due to watching over the match I wasnt able to go play but passing by there must have been thirty or more people and a few thousand empty brass on the deck. Im sure that in the future Robs taking this to other ranges. Watch his site. Even Kip came out, I was standing back watching her with an open gun and wondering what that family eats for breakfast.
