Sam
Relax, Erik & Flex, I was just kidding with the recipe. It's Friday! hehehe. I woke up with a sore throat, cold feet, and a still slightly sore back from shovelling snow this week. No problem, my trigger finger feels great! I got me some rounds loaded up and some weak areas I need to practice. (as revealed by the online match) The weatherman says it gonna be windy. So, I'm also going to shoot rifles this weekend. They're talking about possible gusts 25 to 40 mph, that's a load of wind drift with a .223! Best of all, I might actually get some word on a pay raise today! Yep, it's been two years since I left my old high stress job and took a 40% pay cut. (ouch) Then last year, no raises company wide. (dull ache) Maybe things are gonna turn around real soon. But, you know what, after two years of owning my life again I still wouldn't go back to the way it was. Life is good my friends, now get out there and live it! rhino
I wore my "new" raincoat this morning when I was taking the trash to the curb. I've had it for a year or so, but I keep forgetting to take it with me when it rains. The funny thing is, by the time I got outside the rain stopped. It will be back, though, and I know where my spiffy raincoat is. It's the second Friday of Lent and so far I've not accidentally eaten meat yet. Actually, I survived both the first Friday and Ash Wednesday, so that gives me two days under my belt and today will make three. I have a spiffy new S&A slimline magwell on my favorite single stack gun now! The fellow who did it for me did an excellent job! I finished and mailed my tax return last week! I'm hoping to get my refunds soon! We get to shoot USPSA/IPSC again starting on Sunday at So. Central! We had to go all winter without any because the matches kept getting cancelled by ice and bad road and range conditions. But now we're back in business for the year. Woo-hoo! Methinks I'll also get to wear my spiffy raincoat on Sunday too, so it will be doubly fun. Life is good.
DougBarnes101
Rhino, I will bring the digital camera if your are going to shoot all the stages from the concealment of a raincoat! By the way you do remember that this is USPSA not IDPA right? See you Sunday!
rhino
I will bring the digital camera if your are going to shoot all the stages from the concealment of a raincoat! Doug, if it's really raining hard and we still shoot, I'll do it! I may take it off for the classifier if I think it will help, but I don't mind shooting the match from concealment. If I do, I'll use my IWB holster too!
Shooter Grrl
Relax, Erik & Flex, I was just kidding with the recipe. Aw man, I want the recipe!
Nik Habicht
Sam, Sam, Sam, You gotta quit teasing us like that! Some of us only click on this type of thread for a potential recipe ---- besides I figured you'd have us detail stripping ARs and I always wanted to know what the time standard should be... I actually got the .45 back together while the dough was still on the counter --- next time I think I'll strip and clean three glocks --- that should be about the right timeframe... Sam
Nik to be at it's best, the trout should be very fresh. Like, "Dude, we're two over the limit!" fresh. So, I'm gonna keep my blasters assembled on this one incase of bears.
