Mark R
Gas used in airsoft guns...the gas contains a silicon based lubricant in it. Better than running CO2 in the airsoft guns. CO2 has no lubbrication in it.
Cy Soto
What exactly is it? It is mostly propane with a silicone additive for lubrication. It is also missing the sulfur additive that gives the propane used at home that "rotten egg" smell.

kevin c
You'll need to add the silicone lubricant. Camp stove/torch propane is "dry". You can buy the oil from venders, along with the charging fitting that screws onto the tank. There's a side port for application. The wise heads here advise me that it lubes the mag seals and the gun parts, a drop into the charging valve once every six magazines worth or so. eta: the oil from AS vendors often comes with its own odorant, that at least partially covers the smell of camp propane (not very well, though, and you can end up smelling like lilacs or something, so don't overdo it, as it may spray on you as you charge the mag, or from the gun with the first couple shots...)
