Mag insertion situation.

SV frame, STI mags.

I noticed an extra "bumb-skip" feeling when practicing reloads.

Upon inspection, the portion of the magazine just foward of the feed lips is contacting the bottom portion of the slide (inside the magwell) just before full insertion.

It seems the spring -loaded mag-catch is forcing the top of the magazine to the left just enough to allow this "bump-skip" to happen. I've had a fix proposed, but I figure I'd find out how common this problem is first. I wonder if it a SV-vs-STI compatability thing (mags, mag-catch..ect).

The fix is to "blend"(bevel) the contacting area of the mag so it "skips" off the slide rather than "bump-skips".
