mike.45 Posted July 5, 2004 Share Posted July 5, 2004 One of the best springs I have found for consistent compression pressure and smoothness is a simple basic factory mag spring from a Gold. Brownells sell them for about $6 each. I use one of these in all of my shotguns when I have 10 round mags fitted. In a 10 rnd mag the basic spring is long enough to trim an inch or so off to make it lighter still. For $6 they are well worth it for the quality.
