basepads sti 126 mags in edge

The standard sti 126mm magazine basepads seat flush with my magwell in my edge. I am looking for a basepad that wil extend the length of the magazine for better mag changes but will still fit in the gun. Any manufacturer suggestions please?

just run some Dawson or Arredondo Intnl (wedge) pads. I had to go this route with the big mouth magwell.

Unless you shoot IPSC sell off the 126 and get a 140mm they are the same price. It seems odd to me that they include 126s even with a 6 inch Eagle thats not IPSC legal. No way it fits the box.

Either +1 / wedge basepads or 140mm tubes will cure your problem, just a matter of exactly what you are looking for.

Wedge basepads would be the "budget" answer

Wedge basepads are about all you can use on a 126mm tube, and still use a magwell.

The arredondo wdges are plastic, I have them but not sure how they will hold up, the double alpha tops, followed by the Dawsons.

Hello: The SVI wedge pads are not bad(don't like the setscrew). The Dawson wedge are not bad if you drill a hole for the STI insert. The Arredondo are ok(not long enough). I ended up making my own and modifing the STI magwells. I did this for IDPA and the box. Thanks, Eric

I would trust the arredondos. I have used their basepads for paras for over 14 years without ever breaking one. That includes reloads onto concrete indoors.
