THUMB GUARD KREB'S STYLE

I need a help how to instal Brazos THUMB GUARD KREB'S STYLE.

I order from Brazos store Ejector, BCG - Pro Series Performance Tuned,Mag Release Button, BCG - Cyclone and Brazos THUMB GUARD KREB'S STYLE.

I install Ejector and mag button but have a problem with THUMB GUARD instalation.

I have on my gun Brown Extended Ambi-Safety

I just bought the same thumb guard and now trying to install it. How much material you need to remove from the grip and safety? Any good tips for the installation?

Line up the thumbguard on the frame so that the notch in the slide for the safety lines up with the matching notch in the thumbguard. Mark the frame and then cut using a 0.250 end mill. Your cut will be 0.030 inch deep 0.850 in length (front to back on the frame - actual length of cut is 0.600 plus 0.250 diameter of end mill), and 0.325 inch top to bottom. The 0.030 depth may have to be adjusted a little - the plunger tube holes vary in the slide and you can cut through if you cut too deep. If you do cut through just clean up the hole and install the thumbguard - it will cover the hole.
