Greg Schroeder
I was looking back at some old magazines and saw some pictures of Rob Leatham winning the 2000 limited nationals, I am wondering what kind of gun did he shoot?? I would guess it was a springfield and it didn't look like it had a long dust cover. ANYONE know the details about Robs'(Rob's) gun. Thanks Greg
ErikW
Springfield widebody .40, standard dust cover, standard slide. I don't know whether bushing or bull barrel. I recall Mike Voigt saying it about tore his arms from his sockets when he picked it up because it weighed 50+ ounces. I think at the time Leatham was trying to get a tungsten sleeved bull barrel from Johnny Lim. If he's got that in then it would be over 52 ounces. I'm sure Brian has shot it and can tell us what it's like to shoot a .40 caliber anvil.
benos
The "anvil" is nice - soft. I know The Great One is working feaverishly to get the tungsten sleeve on his barrel before this years nats. be
