polizei1
This is what I've been using for a while now. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11147343 I probably use 2lbs in the tumbler, it lasts a couple thousand rounds of 9mm, I tumble for 3-4 hours. Cleans the inside of the brass well, and the outside pretty good too. I'm not one that cares about shiny brass, so for me it's good enough. I find it helps VERY much if you're going to use walnut, to also put in a dryer-sheet. If you want the ultimate clean, you really should get a stainless steel tumbler. For me though, it's not worth the extra time/hassle. Edited September 10, 2012 by polizei1
sidnal
I like the 14-20 too. A bag purchased at Grainger 1.5 yers ago is only 1/3 used. My recipe for brass prep is to tumble in walnut w/ a little mineral spirits and then load. After loading I tumble in 14-20 corn media + flitz+mineral spirits for 25 minutes to get the case lube off and to polish. Makes pretty bullets that run flawlessly.
